Who we are
The Red Case File is run by Julie Marquez. Questions: dispatch@redcasefile.com.
The Weekly Case File
A subscription delivers an original fictional mystery by email each week: the case file on Day 1, the sealed solution on Day 4, and the next case on Day 7. Each case is a downloadable PDF designed to be solved in about 10 to 20 minutes.
Price and billing
$9 per month or $89 per year, charged in US dollars through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. If prices change, we'll email you at least 14 days before your next renewal.
Cancelling
You can cancel anytime using the link in your Stripe receipt or by emailing dispatch@redcasefile.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You'll keep receiving cases until then and won't be charged again.
Payments
Because cases are digital and delivered immediately, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll look into it.
Your use of the cases
Cases are for personal use. Solve them on your own or with family and friends at home. Please don't resell, redistribute or post case files or solutions publicly. Sharing your reaction is welcome; sharing the answer isn't.
By subscribing, you agree to receive case emails and occasional news from The Red Case File. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time; case delivery continues while your subscription is active.
Fiction
All cases, characters and places are fictional. Any resemblance to real people or events is coincidental.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new date above. If a change is significant, we'll email subscribers.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
